I'm so excited about your new adventures! As a hopeless Anglophile living in the United States, you are my go-to when I need a "fix". . . which is always!
I have a gnome in my office. His name is Gnorman and was a gift from my nephew to my Mom who received it on the day she died. Gnorman has accompanied me on all my travels and I take pictures of his adventures and send them to my nephew who is now 20 and continues to indulge his aged aunt.
I love your 12 Days of Tudor Christmas and would love to hear more about Christmas during other time periods especially for the common people. So looking forward to your newsletter!
This is very exciting. Thank you. I would like to learn more about historical true crime. I have listened to your wonderful podcasts. What would be a good recommendation for any books on this subject. 😊
Woo Hoo! I'm glad for you! Congratulations! Period change is always a bit scary at first, but it always ends up being good! I worked for an historical association and I had no heat either, so I can relate. Working from home now is so much better! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for us to read, view and listen to! Thank you for all you do!
Good Luck Lucy! Looking forward to reading and watching all that is to come. I love hearing about how folks in the past managed to do the things that we easily take for granted in our day to day lives i.e. simple, automated things we do, compared to the challenges they faced to do the same. Also a bit of seedy gossip is always good! Thanks.
I volunteer at Elizabeth Gaskell’s house in Manchester. Last year was the 10th anniversary of opening to the public and 20 years since the house was saved. Elizabeth is such an under recognised author but so important. A perfect topic for your attention Lucy!
I look forward to adventures with you, along with William Spivey! I so wish that I had been taught history with great stories not just memorization of dates. I just can’t get enough so I’ll be here as often as I can. Thank you.!!!

Huge congratulations on your new ventures, Lucy! I’m very much looking forward to your future posts, books and documentaries! Best wishes!
Congratulations and what a good idea this is. Really looking forward to reading about your new exploits. Where do you get your energy from?!
Must be that dinosaur.

Just don’t programme the gnome to do all the household chores - that was my main lesson from Christmas TV this year!

Please come to the US for a lecture tour!
That I would attend. It can be done. Chicago's Field Museum is a perfect spot.
The Tudor love of music that saved Xmas for us from the puritans
I’d love to hear more about the grace and favour apartments at HCP. Who lived there and why? I’m sure there are stories to spill!

We shall be lifelong learners with you! Thank you for including us in the journey.
